Open Electrical

Proven Process

Having successfully completed over 3,200 solar and battery installations throughout South East Queensland, we have refined our process to provide competitive pricing, seamless installations, and outstanding value for your solar and battery systems. Our goal is to help you save money while ensuring an efficient setup.

Process Outline

  1. Upon arriving at your location, we'll conduct an assessment of your Meterbox. This allows us to identify whether your home operates on Single Phase, Three Phase, or sometimes Two Phase power.
  2. Typically, the most energy-consuming appliance in your home will be your Electric Hot Water system. If you have gas heating, we won’t address that, and if it’s a Heat Pump, we’ll leave it as is. However, a traditional Hot Water system should be managed by your solar setup, so we recommend using a Catch Power Relay.
  3. Consider your energy consumption patterns. If you primarily use electricity at night, a smaller system with a battery might be your best option. Conversely, if you work from home and rely heavily on air conditioning, a larger system could be more advantageous. Do you have plans to invest in an Electric Vehicle? Let’s plan for that as well.
  4. Is this a new system? Are we expanding an existing system (running in parallel)?, are we installing a retro fit battery. or are we removing an old system and replacing it with a new system. All things are considered, and what solution is best for you.
  5. What equipment aligns best with your needs and budget? Is shading going to be a concern? We will develop a comprehensive proposal for you and review every aspect thoroughly. If you would like to explore different options, please let us know. We would be delighted to recommend various sizes or equipment options.

Once that’s all set, our team will be out shortly to install your system!
