I worked with over half a dozen installers. Open Electrical are the only ones that correctly came up with a battery solution for my existing solar setup off the bat. Having a SolarEdge system, either needed the Optimisers removed or AC coupled. However AC coupled would put me over the stupid(As if anybody would want to discharge their battery in the middle of the day when solar is high, why?) Queensland 10kw limit. Anyway, competent technical knowledge from sales through to the install team. Professional install, very happy.

The Open Electrical team were great to work with in regard to our solar and battery install - timely communications, solid technical advice and a neat and tidy job. The team encountered multiple rain days during the install but persisted in good humour to get the system delivered. The system sizing recommended by OE was spot on and its a great feeling to not have to rely on the grid, even after weeks of cloudy days!

Great service and very competitive pricing for solar and battery installation at Open Electrical. Sales consultant, Jake, took the time to tailor our battery and solar setup to our long list of requirements. On installation day, Ash, Harry and the crew installed the battery, shifted our existing solar panels and added on our new panels all in on day. They made sure to consult us with any issues they encountered. Battery and solar has been working well since day one. Highly recommend Open Electrical.

I can't speak highly enough of Gold Coast and Hinterland electrical. The two apprentices electricians ( Jake and Bailey) were exceptionally impressive from start go. These young men were polite, cheerful, respectful and a delight to have in my home. They worked to a high standard , no mess was left behind and they talked me through the whole process. The team at Open Electrical Solar were exceptional. This was the only solar supplier who asked relevant questions to the area in which we live regarding storms and hail which in turn led to us choosing solar panels more resistant to hail damage. Quote was quick, comprehensive and less than expected. Installation was smooth and done within a couple of weeks. We couldn’t be happier with the new solar and battery system. Working out the best option took a bit of to and fro but we got there in the end. Installation was very smooth and professional. System works well. Following up with a weather shield took a while but we are very happy with the results.

Impressive! Great contractor to deal with. Communication by phone, text and email, was excellent from initial contact to final payment - all departments. Staff, both administration and on site, were polite, friendly, co-operative and helpful. They removed and replaced 20 panels and installed our battery in a day! During showery weather. We highly recommend Open Electrical Solar.

Wow, what a service directors Mark, Jack & Nick in sales then the crew of sparkys provide. One very full day started at 7:00am sharp, sent message when on way, arrived on time. Communication was clear and concise, installation was great, right down to sitting with Mark at the end to login and run through app. If you are thinking solar battery system go to Open for a professional experience.

We were looking to get a large solar and battery system for a house we just purchased. We went around to many companies for a quote and settled with Open Electrical and Solar. Our communication with Boris in sales was excellent and he was eager and patient in answering all our questions. Lauchy, Samuel and Lewis came on schedule to install our Sigenergy battery and Jinko Solar panels. Upon arrival it became clear that the original plan for the panels wouldn’t have worked effectively. This was no problem and the lads came up with a new layout for the panels with no complaints and no hassle. They worked slowly, safely and efficiently and to a very high standard. They were respectful of our property and in their communication with us throughout the process. They left not a single spec of mess and did a fantastic job. Didn’t cut any corners and the system works flawlessly. At current estimates we will have paid off the system in less than 4 years and our power bills will be going from $500 per month down to maybe $30 at the most.

Happy with price and product, however, the bracket holding the electrical cable to the panels separated from the wall of our unit. Rang after sales service and this was eventually fixed (5 months later). Otherwise happy with installation, price and service.

Recently had a 13.2kw system installed. Regan was very helpful with excellent communication from the office. The tradesman were thorough and did a neat job on the install pushing through 37 degree days. Definitely recommend!

Jack gave me the original quote which was a seamless and thorough experience. Staff that managed the installation, despite having to come back for a second visit (Theo) were very friendly & efficient. Regan (office) communicated extremely well and was very attentive.

The team at Open Electrical made the whole process of choosing to go solar very easy. Grant and Reagan were contactable from start to finish, the installation was undertaken on the date and time as planned and the team undertaking on the day were very professional and efficient. I would highly recommend using them, even if it is only a consideration as they are great to talk to with plenty of options available. Install looks great.

Firstly we havn't had to pay for any power usage since installing 5 months ago and in fact our account is in credit even after taking into account the Govt rebate payments. More than impressed with the professional team at Open Electrical. From Regan co-ordinating in the office, to Mark quoting and designing to Reece and the lads on the ground, a great job! Having already had a system installed, we needed it off the roof & reinstalled for a house extension. It is not often that I have such a wonderful experience with a business or contractor. This was sheer bliss, and I want to tell everyone about it. Immediately after dialling the number for Open Electrical, the phone was answered by Regan, a lady who manages to be both professional, and unpretentiously friendly at the same time. She organised for a sales rep to come to my home to assess my needs. Grant was the guy who attended. And I really should not refer to him as a sales rep, because I never felt like he was trying to sell me anything. His aim was to answer every question I posed, and then to supply me with exactly what I need/want at a fair price. I was thoroughly impressed at the obvious breadth and depth of Grant’s knowledge about domestic solar, and he was able to give me the technical explanations I wanted in a form that was very clear and digestible. I note that he was also very happy to attend my home at the very next time when I said that it would be convenient for me. On top of that, he was a jolly nice chap! After getting quotes from four different suppliers, I selected Open Electrical because they were the cheapest (such that I didn’t even have to have regard for the confidence I had in their bona fides). Regan then kept me abreast of things as I awaited the installation of the panels and inverter, and she even offered me a much earlier installation date when a slot opened up. The guys that performed the installation were prompt and friendly, and made sure that I understood the equipment and helped me set up the associated app so that I could monitor my production and usage. They left no mess behind when they left. Grant also checked in with me later to ensure that I was perfectly satisfied, and to invite me to contact him with any questions that may later spring to mind. Open Electrical sets a benchmark for the way to run a business - and not just in the solar industry.
